need help with a vintage oyster perpetual
not to show my hand or anything, but i would rather not nickel and dime negotiate. ultimately, i just want a fair price and not knowing what that is i'm afraid of being screwed. also, instead of just dumping the thing, i'd feel better getting the watch to someone who would appreciate it. my gut tells me that a jeweler would not give me the best price, but it would be easy and if the numbers are good enough i'd be content to trade the watch for another timepiece (i've always liked the black-faced submariner). i'm not opposed to selling the watch privately and then purchasing another one, but really i'm just looking to keep things as simple as possible.
i'd welcome any help i can get.
